Magnetic. Nail polish.

No, I won't be sticking to metal things anytime soon (unless I pull a Christmas Story)but it's just as epic, if not more so than being able to stick magnetic poetry to my fingers...although that would be pretty sweet too. There are little magnetic particles in the polish that move around if you put a magnet over your nails before they dry! It creates this cool hologram-ish, stripey effect that I'm totally loving right now.



Yeah. I totally bought some. I also bought the purple...they were out of the teal, otherwise I would have bought the whole set. It's that awesome.


It's epicly amazeballs to say the least; I've been getting compliments on it all day!

I purchased mine at Sephora, but you might be able to find it somewhere else. I want them to come out with a red so badly!

Praise to the God of SPARKLE! My new motto is that hula hooping and sparkles make everything better--it's true, don't deny it! So I just about had a happiness hernia when I came across this amazing polish!

I die. This little bottle would make my day. Nay, my whole holiday season!

I am so proud of Lady Gaga. She's used her fame and popularity to stand up for her beliefs and show others that it's okay to do the same. Her speech, not only brought tears to my eyes, but pride in my fellow citizens who choose to have a voice, and not just to sit idly by; watching while important decisions are made for them.

Thank you, Lady Gaga for lending a voice to those who are forced not to have one by an outdated and unequal rule.

Equality is prime rib--that we all deserve a fair chance to eat.

Dramditidramz.

Hokay.

So, dahling Interwebz, last night I went to see Inception with a few friends--one had seen it twice before, and the rest of us were newbies to the Inception world. After the movie let out, most of the audience was kindof in a state of "Whhahhht?"/ "OMIGAWD. DID YOU SEE THAT?!"/"I don't get it" shock.

While walking to the car, we started to discuss the movie, as all movie goers do, which led to clashing opinions being thrown out--one of my friends, a writer didn't think that the script was any good, another one of my friends picked up on little nuances and was surprised and satisfied by her findings, and I, well, I was pretty much in a state of shock over the hotness of Leo & JGL. (Fo'realzies Interwebz, Leo, like a fine wine, gets better and more tasty with age.) After we drove home and parted ways, satisfied with our evening spent in the AC eating M&M's, we went to bed--I for one had a bit of trouble getting to sleep (I didn't want a war to be waged in my head while I had my 6 hours, thank you very much...)

Today, however there was a bit of drama between those who enjoyed and those who didn't...I've started to wonder if maybe the movie itself is a form of an "inception"--having people choose sides "pro-Inception" or "anti-Inception" and forcing them to argue it out thus giving the movie itself more press and precedence in our lives.

As you know, Interwebs, I don't like confrontation. I also believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I respect the fact that a few of my friends didn't think that Inception was as good as hyped--I agree that people made it out to be way more confusing than it actually was. I enjoyed the movie for it's cinematic qualities--the effects were beautiful, they enhanced the dreamworld, the casting was great--hello Joseph Gordon Levitt!--and I liked the fight scene in the anti-gravity. Pretty epicsawce, if I do say so myself.

As for the script, most action movies I've seen tend to have not-so-hot scripts. I go into the theater knowing that I'm going to see some hot men punch each other in the face and not hear epic award winning dialogue while they do it--and I'm okay with that. If in the future there is a movie that delivers both, sign me up!

So, Inception, I enjoyed you, but can't we just leave the drama at the theater where it belongs?

{Unless JGL is willing to make a house call. Then, I'm all for it.}

Outerspace

Fun/Embarrassing fact about Abby, Interwebz: I went to Space Camp when I was a child. Yes. I was just like that nerdy kid in the commercials--I got to fly a simulator rocket. It was epic. I also got to go on the anti-gravity thing that spins you around. Not so epic--kindof makes you feel ill...

I was quite the geek. Not to brag or anything...

Regardless of the weird spinny anti-gravity thing, I still want to (legit) visit outer space.
